Electric vehicle compliance monitoring for underground mines

EVieMon is Deftec's electric vehicle compliance monitoring platform purpose-built for underground mines and heavy industry. It replaces paper-based prestart books with digital inspection forms, automated compliance reporting, battery health tracking, and real-time fleet visibility — all in one platform.

Operators complete prestart and post-shift inspections on any device, logging mechanical and electrical checks, battery state of charge, cycle counts, charge thresholds, and defects. Post-shift forms capture end-of-shift SoC and whether vehicles have been plugged in for charging. The compliance dashboard gives administrators real-time KPIs — vehicles in service, missing inspections, and out-of-service alerts — with automated daily compliance reports across both disciplines.

EVieMon's battery health module tracks average cycle counts and flags vehicles approaching end-of-life thresholds, enabling proactive maintenance planning before failures occur. Configurable weekly shift templates ensure compliance reports know exactly which vehicles should be inspected each day and night. Monthly compliance summaries with historical trend analysis and full CSV export support external reporting and audit requirements.
