Purpose-built for mining operations where multi-zone layouts require strict personnel tracking for safety compliance and emergency response. On surface operations, RFID readers are positioned at zone boundaries — pit entry, workshop areas, fuel bays, and magazine zones — so controllers always know exactly who is where.

For underground mines, TagBord tracks personnel through critical control zones including portal entry/exit, development headings, decline access points, refuge chambers, and ventilation districts. Knowing who is underground and in which zone is essential for emergency evacuations, re-entry protocols, and compliance with statutory personnel limits in restricted areas such as magazines, firing zones, and confined spaces.

Every RFID read is logged with full traceability — who, when, where, and which reader — providing a complete audit trail for safety investigations, shift handover reports, and regulatory compliance. TagBord integrates with existing site access systems and can import personnel records in bulk from enterprise HR platforms.
